Bizerba at British Charcuterie Live. A new event launched this year is , which incorporates the British Charcuterie Awards 2018 and is taking place during BBC Countryfile Live 2018 at Blenheim Palace over four days, Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th August.

Bizerba will have an operational slicer set up in the Judging Area of the of the British Charcuterie Tent for day one, all entrants will be advised in advance that they can have their products sliced by a trained operator, should they wish. The machine will remain in the Judging Area all day but will also be accessible to the bar area because…………….for the remaining three days, the slicer will be sited in the bar area and will be used to slice for the Charcuterie Boards served in the bar. In addition, all Charcuterie Producers who are exhibiting in the British Charcuterie Tent will be advised that should they want their products sliced during the show, we are happy to offer that facility so they can see how our machines operates.
In addition to our product placement at the event, we are also a Class Sponsor in the awards category Cured and Cooked Products, which means that our company logo will appear on all communication to the press, database of charcutiers and all other parties interested in the British Charcuterie Awards. During BBC Countryfile Live, as well as general visitors (of whom there were 120,226 in 2017), there will be an avenue of over 500 stalls with vendors selling all manner of goods including food & beverages, a multitude of food trucks and food outlets, many other tents & marquees one of which is the Countryfile Kitchen Marquee and of course the British Charcuterie Tent full of producers / competition entrants and the host of experts, makers, buyers, chefs, writers and food personalities who will be judging the awards.
All in all, I think this is a really amazing event for us to be a part of; to be able to get our name and products in front of an incredible amount of potential customers and who knows, we might event get on the TV!
