Vacancies Software Trainer – Company Car & Excellent Benefits.

Based at Niche Food Systems in Blackburn – A part of the Bizerba Group of companies.

Niche are an expanding Software House providing specialist software into the Food Manufacturing Sector and have an exciting opportunity for a Software Trainer to deliver end user Training for external customers and internal staff.

This role involves travel across the UK. During busy periods you may be working on client’s sites up to 2-3 days per week. Food Industry software knowledge preferred but not essential.

Vacancies Software Trainer Duties

Duties: Provide onsite training (Shop floor, Classroom & 1-2-1) to external customers. Create supporting documentation such as user manuals and guides for the applications, ensuring they meet standards and provide easy to follow instructions and information. Maintain existing training materials and course content in line with product development.

Create new courses and training materials to support new products. Develop excellent on-going relationships with customers to encourage retention and continued use of products.

Provide ongoing help desk support to customers. Install basic system upgrades at point of training.

Key Skills: Ability to work in a small company environment with a strong team ethic.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload and meet customer deadlines.

Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Ability to learn and understand the day to day customer business operations that are supported by the software applications.

Experience in delivering both ‘classroom’ and ‘desk’ based system training sessions to audiences that can vary in number from one to twenty, together with a confident approach to the delivery of both in depth system overviews and training to individuals and groups.

An up-to-date knowledge of the Microsoft operating systems and Office applications including Word and Excel. Good writing skills for the development of operating instructions and learning materials A positive approach to problem-solving.

The personality, patience and tact to motivate learners with varying abilities and responsibilities.
Some experience of ‘training needs analysis’ to adapt to learners’ abilities and knowledge of how to assess training results.
