X-Ray Inspection Systems

Bizerba X-Ray Inspection Systems. These systems miss nothing, fully automatic inspection system that detectors all errors or defects in food products. The systems will identify irregular any no conformed items. Foreign objects and will even identify missing or misshaped items.

X-Ray Inspection Systems – Nothing is Missed

Due to the chemical components and density, the x-ray inspection systems will identify quickly and inferior products on the line, rejecting them immediately. Consider the Bizerba inspection system XRE_2.  A number of detection’s can be made during the process from raw bones, metals, plastics, glass, ceramics and stones. Nothing is missed.

Detection’s are made in packaged and unpack-aged food. Extensive testing on products long before the install as part the consultation process. Packaged food for manufactures is at times challenging, normally in the past a simple metal detector was sufficient enough to adhere to the food retail industry strict standards.

X-Ray Inspection Systems – Compliance

Consider nowadays major food retailers demand extremely high quality standards. Not letting anything slip into the supply chain or onto the shelves in the shops. X-Ray inspection systems, now required to meet these high standards.  The flexibility and the various items that are detected make this the preferred detection system.

Used in conjunction with a vision inspection system and an in motion checkweighing system the combination is formidable. Additionally used with statistical and data capture software offering full food trace ability from supply, production and delivery.

X-Ray Inspection Systems – Set Up

The set up would normally be as follows, left to right or right to left. From the filling systems to the packaging system where required then onto the checkweigher. From there it would pass though the x-ray inspection systems before travelling to the final check the vision inspection system.

At all times the data is recorded and can be accessed in real time or historical records can be recalled. Each stage will have pushers to reject the items passing through the conveyor or lines. recording monitoring and identifying any trends in the rejection process.
