Linerless label by Bizerba – What are the underlying facts?

While traditional self-adhesive labels consist of paper, adhesive and liner, the modern linerless technology from Bizerba works without the need for a liner or any backing material.

Unlike conventional labels whose inner liner needs a lot of space on the label roll, the linerless label is provided with a special surface treated coating, are rolled up and adhere to each other. Since there is no adhesive liner, there is so much more printable area per label roll with this Bizerba linerless technology.

Linerless label Area of Use:

Ticket and linerless label printing for retail scales, the service counter and to be adapted to trade to trade systems.

Logistics, warehouse and production.

Linerless label Highlights:

Considerably more labels per reel or roll since there is no liner. This results in a label length of 80 meters as oppose to  the usual 47 meters on a standard label roll.

Fewer roll changes equates to more printing time and less set up time – a major advantage at peak times. Reducing the need to change the roll so often reducing down time

Variable label length. After all purchased articles and items have been recorded, the ticket will be printed in the relevant required length.

The non-adhesive patented grasping edge of the ticket reduces a possible adhesion to the printer. There are no adhesive residues sticking to the operator’s fingers or any residue that could hinder the printer performance.

No more injuries resulting from conventional staples and clips they are now a thing of the past since bags are now fully sealed by means of labels.

This also reduces and excludes any liability damage that may have occurred in the past. Linerless label, saving, time, waste and energy.
